She received her PsyD in 2018 from the University of the Rockies (formally Colorado School of Professional Psychology) before completing a post-doctoral fellowship focusing exclusively on neurodevelopmental and neuropsychological assessment.

Dr. Wickizer’s breadth of business experience coupled with her expertise in psychological assessment made the transition to private practice and ownership of Broadmoor Psychological Services a natural transition.

In addition to her work at Broadmoor Psychological Services, Dr. Wickizer enjoys travel, sharing time with her husband, working to remodel their home, and all things spooky.

Dr. Justina Kropp

Dr. Justina Kropp has been a licensed clinical psychologist based in Colorado since 2015 and brings a wealth of experience and a holistic approach to her practice. Graduating summa cum laude from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology with specializations in Health Psychology and Neuropsychology, she embarked on her journey to understand individuals in mind, body, and spirit.

Her diverse training includes an internship in Colorado Springs focusing on adults with serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI) across various settings. Dr. Kropp's commitment to a holistic understanding is evident in her proficiency with mindfulness-based treatments like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), heart-rate variability (HRV) biofeedback, advanced yoga training (500hr Teacher Training through Cambio Yoga, 2018), and trauma-informed treatment.

For the past nine years, Dr. Kropp has used her extensive knowledge and curiosity to conduct comprehensive and compassionate assessments and evaluations. Her specializations encompass adults with traumatic brain injury and neurodegenerative conditions. She has also dedicated a significant portion of her career to training future psychologists within an APPIC-accredited internship program and supervising post-doctoral psychologist candidates serving clients of all ages.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Kropp finds solace in the mountains of Colorado with the company of her family and four dogs. Away from the office, she tends to her garden and chickens on an urban homestead. Embracing the joys of outdoor life, she can always be found brushing dog hair off her clothes and cleaning soil from under her fingernails – a routine she wouldn't trade for anything else.
